What I mean by that is, this Eldorado was sold new on June 29, 1967 in Ogallala, Nebraska to a doctor and his wife. As a couple they kept the car until the early 90's. They lived in Florida in the winter months and would drive the Eldorado to Florida every winter for 25 years. In the early 90's they gave to there nephew who then passed it on to another relative. I purchased the car about 6 years ago from this gentleman by talking him out of the car. I found it online from photos at a national Cadillac show it was at and won first place. The group landed on three critical elements: 1. Technical skills 2. Problem solving and critical thinking ability 3. Leadership, dependability and teamwork These education goals help focus schools' career and technical education programs, ensuring a focus on the whole student; from overall academic performance, skill building, and social-emotional growth.

RICHARD: There will be State Association Conferences happening soon, both of us are looking forward to them. LINSAY Jr.: These conferences are opportunities for you to make motions about your state’s future. Could be about deaf people’s interests, deaf children, election for new officers, and to select delegates for the 2018 NAD Conference. Both of us are eager to work with you all. RICHARD: I plan to attend the conferences in Nebraska and Indiana as I will be providing a workshop. LINSAY Jr.: And I will go to Illinois and Iowa so I will see you there. RICHARD: Currently, there are various legislative bills in our region. You have been doing a good job keeping an eye on these bills, we encourage you to continue! If you need some support, please feel to ask us. LINSAY Jr.: One of the best ways to do this kind of work is through exchanging ideas. We all can observe and learn with better ideas. Improve from others. Continue to work. This will make progress for Region II for deaf people’s successful rights in regards to jobs, education, and access. RICHARD: Now, as a board member, I have two responsibilities. I serve as the Board Liaison for Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI) Task Force. The purpose of that task force is to improve how to work with deaf interpreters. I also serve as the Board Liaison for the NAD Interpreter Section. The section consists of people who joined the section to support interpreter issues and help make progress. LINSAY Jr.: As for me, I am the Board Liaison for the NAD Youth Strategy Team (YST), which focus on ages of 18 – 30 years old. We are developing a survey to identify how to recruit or inspire young people to connect with the NAD. I also am on the Organization committee which is responsible to figuring out the structure of the NAD. We’re looking on ways to improve on its effectiveness and how to make it more efficient to serve you better. RICHARD: So, that’s what we have worked so far. Of course, there is more work ahead of us. Also, we are also excited about the next board meeting which will happen at the NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC) in Oklahoma City this October. Come and join! LINSAY Jr.: The best part is the regional mini-conference that will happen during NLTC. You will have an opportunity to make motions and be prepared for the NAD Conference next year in 2018. Come! Video fades to a soft white background with several different font types showing "NAD" very quickly. Copyright video ends with the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) logo centered. Blue text below the logo appears, "A production of the National Association of the Deaf (copyright) 2017 All Rights Reserved".

What is an API?

What exactly is an API? Finally learn for yourself in this helpful video from MuleSoft, the API experts. https://www.mulesoft.com/platform/api The textbook definition goes something like this: “An application programming interface (API) is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications. An API expresses a software component in terms of its operations, inputs, outputs, and underlying types. An API defines functionalities that are independent of their respective implementations, which allows definitions and implementations to vary without compromising each other. A good API makes it easier to develop a program by providing all the building blocks. APIs often come in the form of a library that includes specifications for routines, data structures, object classes, and variables. In other cases, notably SOAP and REST services, an API is simply a specification of remote calls exposed to the API consumers. An API specification can take many forms, including an International Standard, such as POSIX, vendor documentation, such as the Microsoft Windows API, or the libraries of a programming language, e.g., the Standard Template Library in C++ or the Java APIs. An API differs from an application binary interface (ABI) in that an API is source code-based while an ABI is a binary interface. For instance POSIX is an API, while the Linux Standard Base provides an ABI”. To speak plainly, an API is the messenger that runs and delivers your request to the provider you’re requesting it from, and then delivers the response back to you. To give you a familiar example, think of an API as a waiter in a restaurant. Imagine you’re sitting at the table with a menu of choices to order from, and the kitchen is the provider who will fulfill your order. What’s missing is the critical link to communicate your order to the kitchen and deliver your food back to your table. That’s where the waiter (or API) comes in. ”AHEM” The waiter takes your order, delivers it to the kitchen, and then delivers the food (or response) back to you. (Hopefully without letting your order crash if designed correctly) Now that we’ve whetted your appetite, let’s apply this to a real API example. In keeping with our theme, let’s book a flight to a culinary capital – Paris. You’re probably familiar with the process of searching for airline flights online. Just like at a restaurant, you have a menu of options to choose from ( a dropdown menu in this case). You choose a departure city and date, a return city and date, cabin class, and other variables (like meal or seating, baggage or pet requests) In order to book your flight, you interact with the airline’s website to access the airline’s database to see if any seats are available on those dates, and what the cost might be based on certain variables. But, what if you are not using the airline’s website, which has direct access to the information? What if you are using online travel service that aggregates information from many different airlines? Just like a human interacts with the airline’s website to get that information, an application interacts with the airline’s API. The API is the interface that, like your helpful waiter, runs and and delivers the data from that online travel service to the airline’s systems over the Internet. It also then takes the airline’s response to your request and delivers right back to the online travel service . And through each step of the process it facilitates that interaction between the travel service and the airline’s systems - from seat selection to payment and booking. So now you can see that it’s APIs that make it possible for us all to use travel sites. They interface with with airlines’ APIs to gather information in order to present options back to us The same goes for all interactions between applications, data and devices - they all have API’s that allow computers to operate them, and that's what ultimately creates connectivity. API’s provide a standard way of accessing any application, data or device whether it is shopping from your phone, or accessing cloud applications at work. So, whenever you think of an API, just think of it as your waiter running back and forth between applications, databases and devices to deliver data and create the connectivity that puts the world at our fingertips. And whenever you think of creating an API, think MuleSoft.

1967 Cadillac Eldorado. I think this is the first time in my life I have ever offered an automobile for sale to the world that has never been for sale before. I contacted this gentleman and purchased the car even though it was not currently for sale anywhere, therefore, I am the first person since the car was new to actually put this incredible car up for sale to the general public. The car was completely disassembled prior to me purchasing the car and was completely and utterly restored to the highest levels I have ever seen in a 67 Eldorado. I am quite certain it is the best one in existence. In my video I stated the paint is base coat clear coat but it is not. It has a full high quality lacquer paint job that is without flaw anywhere. It is absolutely perfect throughout and the only new car on the market with paint like this would be a Bentley. There is no orange peel anywhere and it is PERFECT !! My favorite part of the car is the leather interior. It is all new and truly spectacular. Soft and supple to the touch and beautiful to sit on. For those of you who know these Eldorado's then you know this is a rare one. They did not make many console cars is 67 and fewer still with front disk brakes. This is that car. The original doctor who ordered this car ordered it completely loaded out and in my opinion one of the finest color combinations I have ever seen. A/C blows cold and the car is a pleasure to drive and own. It is officially for sale, I might consider trades depending on what you have. The car is located right here in Clinton NY 13323. I welcome all visitors. First person who is serious about buying this car and comes to look at it will buy it. It has a presence on every level that will make all men weak in the knees and there ladies as well. Don't low ball me,, I do not welcome those offers. Call me on the phone and talk to me. My number is 315-725-1966. I own 17 cars in my personal collection at the moment that range from old Shelby mustangs to jags and Mercedes. I love cars and have ever since I started collecting matchbox cars in 1971. I still have all those matchbox cars. The 17 cars in my collection are nothing more than big matchbox cars that I love and show off all the time. Once in a while I let a few go so I can have the pleasure of going out and finding some more. That is why this Eldorado is leaving my stable. Michael Stanton. Thank you for viewing my auction. www.supersportmotors.com

"It's Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft's crack team of talking heads -- economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity." - Total Film "Four Horsemen is a breathtakingly composed jeremiad against the folly of Neo-classical economics and the threats it represents to all we should hold dear." - Harold Crooks, The Corporation (Co-Director) Surviving Progress (Co-Director/Co-Writer) Follow us on https://www.twitter.com/Renegade_Inc on https://www.facebook.com/RenEconomist or visit our website http://www.renegadeinc.com Support us by subscribing here http://bit.ly/1db4xVQ
